Ideas and Solutions wanted - Open Innovation Individuals and organisations can access the talent bank of MYGiTM users to request ideas or solutions in specific areas. Examples could be: Ideas for new products Ways to do something How to solve social issues How to solve green/sustainability issues A new business concept that needs developing All requests are free until 31st December 2010, thereafter each submission is £10 (which gives you one year of promotion). Contact us at opportunities@mygreatidea.com for volume discounts or unlimited access packages. Register your innovation needs Describe your need using the MYGi classification system. You do not need to disclose anything secret but it's best to give enough information to encourage as many providers as possible to make contact. STEP 1 Your need title:  (maximum 50 characters) *   "This does not need to refer to your actual need unless you wish to disclose the idea. For instance, you might use your company name and a serial number (such as Peter001) or just say e.g. “Materials for biodegradable and edible shoes”. Obviously, something descriptive like this will help providers to decide to follow up your need with you. It’s up to you but remember that if you wish to keep it a secret then be as general as possible!" Your need description:  (Remember to only disclose enough information for users to decide to make contact with you.) *   "The purpose of this box is to either disclose your need if you wish to make it public or to disclose enough about it to attract providers or partners without giving away exactly what the secret is. It’s up to you to decide how much you want to say here but providers are more likely to contact you if they can see a bit more information. " STEP 2 Keywords for your need:  Enter keywords which relate to your need and will help searchers find it (Enter the keyword and click add. To remove a keyword, select it and click remove keyword.) *  Add   "Keywords are another way of classifying your need beyond the more general classifications above. For example, using the “Biodegradable shoe idea” your keywords might be: “material; shoe; trainer; leisure; fashion; sustainable; recycling; plant; vegetarian; comfort; non-allergenic; lifestyle”." Remove keyword You do not to proceed to STEPS 3, 4 and 5 but if you do it will increase the chances of success. STEP 5 How will you reward good ideas?  (mark all relevant) £100 for each good idea > £1000 for good inventions Royalty on sales or use Case by case   "It is important to make providers comfortable in their understanding that they will be adequately and fairly rewarded. Provide as much information as possible." Please confirm the type of listing you require: Standard Listing Popup Listing (1) Standard listing means that your listing will be visible when someone searches using your selected areas of use but not the industry sector or your keywords. All listings FREE until 31st December 2010. (2) Pop up means that your need pops up on any deposit or search that uses either your selected keywords or classifiers. If you select this you will also be included in standard listings. Pop up fee £10 per listing for 6 months.
